Mali: Serbia registering positive growth rates

PARIS - In spite of the corona virus pandemic and the current energy crisis, Serbia has been, and is, succeeding in registering positive growth rates, as indicated by last year's 2.5 pct GDP growth, Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said in Paris on Tuesday.

The plan is for Serbia's GDP to exceed 100 bln euros in 2027, Mali said at a meeting of a Serbia-France business council.

March saw 10th straight month of record global heat: monitor

Europe's climate monitor said on April 9 that March was the hottest on record and the tenth straight month of historic heat, with sea surface temperatures also hitting a "shocking" new high.

MoU on strategic cooperation with France's EDF signed in Paris

PARIS - The Serbian government and the French power company EDF signed on Monday in Paris a MoU on establishing a framework for long-term dialogue and cooperation on energy transition and low-carbon technologies.

In the presence of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, the MoU was signed by Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali and EDF Director General Luc Remont.
