Vucic: Political situation to become increasingly complex
PIROT - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced on Thursday he would make a public address within 48 hours to answer all political questions and noted that, politically, these were not simple times for Serbia and that they would become increasingly complex.
Vucic: We will get 430 mln euros from EU for Nis-Dimitrovgrad rail line, bypass
PIROT - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday Serbia would get more EU funds - around 430 mln euros - for a project to reconstruct and modernise a Nis-Dimitrovgrad rail line and build a railway bypass around Nis.
Vucic was inspecting works on the Pirot-Sukovo section of the route.

In the continuation of the "Armageddon" action, members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Department of Technology, Unit for Combating High-Tech Crime, in cooperation with the police departments in Belgrade, Ni, Pirot and Leskovac, and by order of the Special Public Prosecutor's Office for High-Tech Crime of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office.
Gas interconnector with Bulgaria to start trial operation soon - minister

Complaints filed over deadly Tigar Tyres accident
PIROT -- The Labor Inspection has filed three criminal and two minor charges complaints against responsible persons at the Pirot-based Tigar Tyres factory.
They are held responsible for the accident that happened at the factory on April 23 that resulted in the death of three workers.

Town to observe day of mourning for workers
PIROT -- The town of Pirot in southeastern Serbia will observe a day of mourning on May 7 for three workers of the Tigar Tyres company.
The website Juzne Vesti reported on Wednesday that the decision was made by the Municipal Council.
