42 Bulgarian Athletes to Take Part in Tokyo 2020 Olimpics
The General Meeting of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC) approved on Thursday the composition of the Bulgarian delegation to the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo. In Tokyo Bulgaria will be represented by 42 athletes in 14 sports.

Ljubljana – Congratulations to Slovenia are pouring in on Friday as the country is marking Statehood Day and the 30th anniversary of its independence. Turkish wrestler Taha Akgül wins European championship
Olympic champion Turkish wrestler Taha Akgül on April 22 won gold in the 2021 European Championships in Warsaw.
Akgul secured his eighth European title as the 30-year-old beat his Russian opponent Sergei Kozyrev via disqualification (9-2) in men's freestyle 125-kg gold medal match.
He previously won gold in the 2016 Olympic Games held in Rio de Janeiro.
Trstenjak wins gold at European Judo Championships, Leški bronze
Lisbon – Slovenian judoka Tina Trstenjak won gold at the European Judo Championships 2021 in the women’s 63 kg event in Lisbon, Portugal on Saturday. She won against Russia’s Daria Davydova. Fellow Slovenian judoka Andreja Leški got a bronze in the same category earlier.
