Trendyol opens first pop-up in Gulf region
Trendyol, one of Türkiye's largest e-commerce platforms, has opened its first pop-up store in the Gulf region at a shopping mall in Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh.
The online shopping giant has been expanding its operations abroad, including Germany, Azerbaijan and Central and Eastern Europe.

Sedat Önal named Türkiye's ambassador to Washington
Türkiye has appointed Sedat Önal as its new ambassador to Washington and Ahmet Yıldız as its permanent representative to the United Nations in New York, according to diplomatic sources.
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan notified Önal and Yıldız of their new duties by phone, the sources informed.

Baykar starts building drone factory in Ukraine
Turkish company Baykar has started building a drone factory near the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, says its CEO Haluk Bayraktar.
Baykar's TB2 or TB3 drone models will be produced at the plant, which will create jobs for 500 people, Bayraktar said, speaking at the World World Defense Show in Saudi Arabia's Riyadh.
