The swapped babies at the "Sheynovo" General Hospital are now with their biological parents, Nova TV reported.

Health Minister Asen Medzhidiev confirmed that the children were returned to their families already on Thursday.

"I think this happened yesterday. I am extremely happy that this problem has been resolved," he pointed out.

Three of the employees at the "Sheynovo" hospital in Sofia are subject to disciplinary sanctions because of the case of the swapped newborns who are not yet with their biological parents. These are the head of neonatology, the senior midwife and the doctor on duty.
