A group of companies that has signed most recent contracts to refurbish street lighting in Serbia with LED lighting - whose close links to the Hungarian and Serbian authorities was the subject of a BIRN investigation in June - has won three more contracts worth over 8 million euros.
Four dead in traffic accident, truck driver arrested
Four people died in the crash that happened near the town of Svilajnac, RTS is reporting.
The driver of the truck reportedly attempted to illegally overtake vehicles in front of him ignoring a continuous line, and ended up colliding with an oncoming passenger car and a pickup truck.

The Japanese government donated EUR 71,750 to the health care center in the Serbian town of Svilajnac.
The goal is to support "improvement in medical care in Serbia," the embassy of Japan said on Monday, quoted by Tanjug.

BELGRADE - The 37th International Fair of Tourism will bring together 1,100 exhibitors from 49 countries in Belgrade from February 19 to 22, Belgrade Fair's press office has announced.
This year's fair will be held under the slogan "Seize the Moment", and exhibitors will present their tourist offer in six halls.
