Tennis-Troicki wins his second ATP career title in Sydney
SYDNEY - Serbia's Viktor Troicki won the ATP tournament in Sydney, after crushing Kazakhstani Mikhail Kukushkin 6-2, 6-3 in the final on Saturday.
This is Troicki's second career title, after winning his first in Moscow in 2010, crowning his return to court after almost a whole-year break for violating anti-doping rules.
Viktor Troicki through to Sydney final
SYDNEY - Serbia's Viktor Troicki is through to the final of the Sydney ATP tournament after beating Gilles Muller of Luxembourg 6-2, 6-4 on Friday in just 64 minutes.
In the final, Troicki will face Mikhail Kukushkin of Kazakhstan, who beat Argentine Leonardo Mayer 6-4, 6-4.

Troicki through to Sydney semi-final
SYDNEY - Serbia's Viktor Troicki reached the semi-final of the ATP tournament in Sydney after scoring a win over Italy's Simone Bolelli 6-3, 3-6, 7-5 on Thursday.
Troicki notched the win after two hours and ten minutes of play.
He is next to take on the winner of the match between Bernard Tomic of Australia and Gilles Muller of Luxembourg.

Bulgaria's No.1 female tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova lost to Petra Kvitova from the Czech Republic at the semifinals of the women's singles competition at the Apia International tournament in Sydney.
Kvitova defeated Pironkova, who was the reigning champion in Sydney, with 7:5, 6:1 on Thursday, electronic daily Dnevnik reports.

Troicki gets off to winning start in Sydney
SYDNEY - Serbia's Viktor Troicki reached the second round of the Sydney ATP tournament early Tuesday after beating Martin Klizan of Slovakia 6-2, 6-3 in just 48 minutes.
Troicki will next face Spain's Pablo Andujar, who beat Finland's Jarkko Nieminen 6-2, 6-2.
The prize money in Sydney is USD 439,405.

Bulgarian tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova recorded a victory in the first round of the women's singles competition at the Apia International Sydney on Monday.
Pironkova won against Italy's Flavia Pennetta with 6:3, 7:6 (4) in a match that lasted hour and a half.
