AnadoluJet goes global brand with international flights
AnadoluJet, a brand of Turkey's national flag carrier, will be a global carrier by launching several new international flights from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
The carrier, which operates only two international flights currently, will launch flights from Istanbul to 26 new destinations in 16 countries as of March, 29, the Turkish Airlines' brand announced on Jan. 14.

Turkey's Maarif Foundation to open schools in Georgia
A Turkish educational foundation will open more schools in Georgia, the Turkish foreign minister said on Dec. 23.
Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu attended the opening ceremony of the International Maarif Schools of Georgia in the capital Tbilisi.
"I would like to say that the Maarif Foundation will open new schools in Georgia not only in Tbilisi but also in other cities," Çavuşoğlu stressed.
Ankara, Baku, Tbilisi to hold trilateral meeting
Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia are set to have a trilateral diplomatic meeting slated for Dec. 23, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Dec. 22.
"The eighth Trilateral Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia will be held in Tbilisi on 23 December 2019," the statement said.

Greece's Foreign Affairs ministry on Tuesday said it is monitoring closely the case of the November 4 abduction by gunmen of a Greek crew member of Greek-flagged tanker Elka Aristotle off the coast of Togo, a West African nation on the Gulf of Guinea.

Large-Scale Cyberattack Has Hit Institutions and the Media in Georgia
About 2,000 websites in Georgia, including those of the president, the courts and the media, are at the center of a major cyberattack, BGNES reported.
Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili's website was "attacked by hackers this afternoon," her AFP spokeswoman said. "Law enforcement is investigating the incident".
Bulgaria and Georgia Restore Direct Airline
Bulgaria and Georgia to re-open Sofia-Tbilisi direct flight. This was made clear after a meeting between Transport Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov and Georgian Prime Minister Georgy Gakharia. The Transport Minister participated in the Silk Road forum, which brought together ministers, business representatives and experts in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi.

The purpose of the document is to create an additional opportunity to provide workers for sectors of the economy where there is a labor shortage.
