Iran to insist all sanctions lifted in any nuclear deal: foreign minister
Iran will insist that all sanctions against it are lifted as a condition for a nuclear deal, the foreign minister said on March 25, showing no sign of compromise on a major sticking point in its talks with world powers set to resume this week.

John Kerry hopeful on reaching nuke agreement with Iran
US Secretary of State John Kerry expressed his hopefulness that a temporary agreement with Iran will be reached in the next few days, if Tehran manages to prove that their nuclear program is meant to be used for peaceful purposes.

Ultraconservative to head Iran's top clerical body

Ayatollah Mohammad Yazdi, 83, was a deputy speaker of parliament after the 1979 Islamic revolution and headed the judiciary for a decade until 1999.
