ForMin Melescanu says he is to consult with US partners on moving embassy to Jerusalem: We must have all data

Foreign Affairs Minister Teodor Melescanu told DC News on Wednesday that he intends to carry out consultations with US partners regarding the proposal to move Romania's Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the goal being that of making "an informed" decision.

Passengers at Sofia Airport Increased by 30% in 2017

The past year was a record in the history of the metropolitan airport. The serviced passengers in the period are almost six million and a half (6 490 096), an increase of 30.3% annually, reported from Sofia Airport.

What is remarkable is the fact that a record increase for passengers is recorded every month of the past year. Terminal 1 had 36% of all passengers and Terminal 2 - 64%.

U.S. Еmbassy to Мove to Jerusalem by the Еnd of 2019

The U.S. embassy in Israel will move to Jerusalem by the end of 2019, U.S. Vice President Mike Pence said on Monday, according to Reuters. 

"In the weeks ahead, our administration will advance its plan to open the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem - and that United States Embassy will open before the end of next year," Pence said in a speech to the Israeli parliament in Jerusalem.

Palestinian Envoy Sent Back to Washington

The Palestinian envoy to the United States says he is returning to Washington after just one day of "consultations" over President Trump's decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel's capital, according to BBC. 

Husam Zomlot said he met Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas privately.

He was instructed to return to Washington "immediately", he said.
