Logar to meet Italian colleague on-line, visit Vatican Friday
Ljubljana – Foreign Minister Anže Logar is expected to hold talks with his Italian counterpart Luigi Di Maio on Thursday, although virtually and not in-person as was originally scheduled, as Di Maio is self-isolating. Logar will nevertheless travel to Rome, as he is also scheduled to visit the Holy See on Friday.

Connecting the borders on foot
Let's start at the Slovene - Croatian border in Sečovlje. Running along the old path of the Porečanka, originally Parenzo hence the italian name Parenzana, rail station, a defunct narrow gauge railway that operated between 1902 and 1935, between Trieste and Poreč, bringing economic progress to towns along its route.

The Karst Edge Run
The Karst edge is a landmark between the Mediterranean and continental Slovenia. On its southern side there lays Istria, on its northern side are Karst, Brkini and Čičarija. It is an extension of the Alps, which goes from the Italian Devin above Trieste, through Slovenia and finishes before the Croatian port town of Rijeka. The Edge is up to 500 metres high and has several shelfs.

Brigitte Bierlein, new Austrian Chancellor, will support Balkan states' EU accession
The head of transitional Austrian Government will support, in accordance with Austrian tradition, EU accession of Western Balkan countries, its spokesperson Sven Wagner stated to APA Agency.
As for further EU members expansion, transitional Austrian government will keep the same course that Wien took, encouraging EU accession of the counties of Southeast Europe.
