Istanbul Theater Festival lifts its curtains in Turkish metropolis
The 25th Istanbul Theater Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), kicked off yesterday in Turkey's largest city.
The festival will present the audience with a program extending from in-person productions to online screenings, from "ear theater" to complimentary panels, talks and reading theaters over the course of one month.
Ottoman Sultan’s portraits go to auction in UK
Rare portraits of Ottoman Sultans will be presented to collectors' interest on Oct. 28 in London.
The series, which consists of portraits of Orhan Gazi, Bayezid, Mehmed I, Selim I, Selim II and Şehzade (Prince) İsa Çelebi, is valued between 800,000 and 1.2 million British pounds.

Turkish film wins in Venice
Turkish director Murat Çeri's debut film "Bir Düş Gördüm" (In My Dream) won the Best Director award, known as the Agrippa Award, at the 4th First Hermenitic International Film Festival held in Venice. The film has also won many awards in many international festivals.
