Zelensky to meet Erdoğan in Istanbul

President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky will pay a visit to Türkiye upon the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to discuss the ongoing Russian occupation of Ukraine and its implications, a week before the key NATO summit. It will be Zelensky's first visit to Türkiye since the war began on Feb. 24, 2022.

Biden tells Swedish PM 'looking forward' to NATO bid's approval

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg will stay in office for another year, the 31-nation military alliance decided on Tuesday.

Stoltenberg said in a tweet that he is "honored by NATO Allies' decision to extend my term as Secretary General until 1 October 2024."
