Vucic: Kosovo-Metohija a part of Serbia, Serbian embassy in Pristina Svecla's dream

VRANJE - In response to a statement by Pristina's interior minister Dzelal Svecla that a Serbian embassy would be the only Serbian symbol in Pristina, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said Kosovo-Metohija was a part of Serbian territory and that a Serbian embassy in Pristina was Svecla's dream.

Voters from Kosovo-Metohija to cast their ballots in central Serbia - commission

BELGRADE - In the December 17 Serbian parliamentary elections, voters from the territory of Kosovo-Metohija will be casting their ballots in central Serbia, the national electoral commission has decided.

They will be voting in the city of Vranje and the Kursumlija, Raska and Tutin municipalities.

Serbian Police Raided a Bulgarian Cultural Center and Seized Bulgarian Books

A group of civilian policemen and inspectors from the municipality of Surdulica searched the premises of the Cultural and Information Center "Bosilegrad" on the Day of the Western Outlands - November 8. The action is by order of the High Court from the city of Vranje. After the search, 23 books of the Bulgarian writer, poet and diplomat Edvin Sugarev were temporarily taken, BTA reports.

Pendarovski hopes tradition of Ilinden celebrations will be continued at Prohor Pcinjski

VRANJE - North Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski said during a visit to Serbia's monastery of St Prohor Pcinjski on Wednesday he hoped the good tradition of celebrations of Ilinden - North Macedonia's greatest national holiday - would be continued at the monastery, the "place where the Macedonian republic was formed."

VRANJE - Speaking to reporters after meeting with North Macedonian counterpart Stevo Pendarovski at the monastery of Prohor Pcinjski near Vranje, southern Serbia, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said the extremely good relations between the two countries had been confirmed at the meeting.

Vui and Pendarovski decided to visit the monastery first, and then hold a meeting.
Vui stated that the reconstruction of the monastery was done.
Pendarovski laid a wreath at the memorial fountain in the gate of the monastery.
Ministers Nikola Selakovi and Bratislav Gai also attended the reception of the delegation from North Macedonia.
