Germany accused the United States of interfering in its internal affairs on Dec. 21 for imposing sanctions on companies working on a major project to supply Western Europe with Russian gas.    

The Pioneering Spirit vessel, which will carry out construction of the offshore section of the Turkish Stream natural gas pipeline, transited Istanbul's Bosphorus on May 31, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.  
      

Istanbul's Bosphorus Strait was closed to traffic on May 31 due to the transiting of the Pioneering Spirit vessel, which will carry out the construction of the Turkish Stream natural gas pipeline's offshore section, Doğan News Agency has reported.

Ferry lines have also been suspended. 

The Pioneering Spirit vessel, which will carry out the construction of the Turkish Stream natural gas pipeline's offshore section, arrived at the Çanakkale Strait early on May 30, according to the vessel's Swiss owner, Allseas.
