Alpha Bank's profits squeezed on provisions in Q3
Alpha Bank on Thursday reported lower third-quarter profit compared to the previous quarter after booking higher provisions for impaired loans.
Alpha's net profit from continuing operations was 35.6 million euros, down from 70.7 million in the second quarter.

Psycharis to stand trial, rules court
The Athens Court of Appeal ruled on Wednesday that the former president of Lambrakis Press Group (DOL), Stavros Psycharis, and 10 executives of Alpha Bank must stand trial over loans he was granted to purchase shares of DOL.
According to the ruling, Psycharis is charged with securing loans without submitting the necessary collateral and guarantees.

Titan to raise 250 mln euros from new issue to refinance debt
Greek cement maker Titan plans to raise 250 million euros ($290.05 million) from issuing new notes to refinance debt and pay back bank and other commercial loans, the company said on Monday.
