President to Apologise for Injustice to Slovenia’s ‘Erased’

Slovenian President Borut Pahor on Friday will commemorate the 30th anniversary of what is known as the 'erasure', when Slovenia, after declaring independence from Yugoslavia and changing its legislation, deleted the residence permits of 25,671 citizens of former Yugoslav countries without prior warning on February 26, 1992.

EU Ministers of Justice and Home Affairs Gather to Discuss Flow of Migrants, Refugees from Afghanistan

European Union justice and home affairs ministers are meeting Tuesday to discuss the Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan and the flow of refugees and migrants it is expected to produce.

The meeting comes the day after the last U.S. forces flew out of Kabul's international airport, ending America's longest war.

Slovenian ambassador in Iran summoned over Janša’s statements

Ljubljana/Tehran – The Iranian Foreign Ministry has summoned Slovenia’s Ambassador to Iran Kristina Radej over Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša’s recent calls for an inquiry into a 1988 massacre in Iran at Free Iran World Summit. Tehran condemned Janša’s appearance at the summit and asked for an explanation from the Slovenian government.
