Ottoman bath discovered in ancient Roman theater
As the restoration and excavation efforts continue at the Ancient Roman Theater and Archaeopark project in Ankara's Ulus district, archaeologists have uncovered an Ottoman bath and tannery.
The bath, featuring characteristics of early Ottoman architecture, will be integrated into the city's cultural life as part of the project.

Roman-era artifacts found in archaeology park excavations
The archaeological park excavations, carried out by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, have unearthed many movable and non-movable Roman-era artifacts.
The region, where the Department of Cultural and Natural Heritage have found historical finds, will be turned into an Archeopark.
Roman-era theater comes to life
Around 70 percent of restoration works in the 2,000-year-old ancient Roman theater ongoing since 2020 as part of the Archaeopark Project have concluded.
Being restored in accordance with many international ancient theater reconstruction works, the theater can be used as an open-air stage with an audience capacity of approximately 1,500 people when the work is done.

Nation Alliance’s candidate will be 13th president: Akşener
İYİ (Good) Party leader Meral Akşener on Dec. 13 said she believes that the presidential candidate of the Nation Alliance will be elected by the nation in the next elections.
"I do not know when the election will take place, but I believe that the candidate of the Nation Alliance will be the 13th president," Akşener said.
Flying Broom Int’l Women’s Film Festival kicks off
The 24th Flying Broom International Women's Film Festival will bring national and international women's films together with moviegoers until June 11.
A meeting was held for the festival on May 27 to launch the festival.

Ankara hosts photo exhibit on Pakistan
Pakistan's Embassy in Turkey is hosting a seven-day photo exhibit in the capital Ankara.
The exhibit - "Colors of Pakistan Through the Eyes of Turks," done in coordination with Anadolu Agency and the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality - features 52 sheets of photographers, including Anadolu Agency photojournalists Metin Aktas and Ismet Keten.

The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality is working on a project titled the Roman Theater and Archaeology Park. According to a written statement made by the municipality, works have been initiated to unearth the Roman Theater, which is one of the historical heritages in the Turkish capital.
