Europe Has No Alternative to Russian Gas at Present - Bulgaria's Deputy PM
The Bulgarian government sees no alternative to Russian gas supplies to Europe and is ready to examine the terms of receiving deliveries via Turkish Stream, according to Deputy Prime Minister Ivaylo Kalfin.
90% of Insured Deposits at Bulgaria's Corpbank Paid Off
In 20 work days, since December 4, the Bulgarian Deposit Insurance Fund (BDIF) has paid off 90% of the insured deposits at the Corporate Commercial Bank (KTB, Corpbank), or BGN 3 250 000 000, according to BDIF Chair Radoslav Milenkov.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 on the Richter scale was registered in northern Greece, early Saturday.

Bulgaria, Romania to Sign Memorandum To Build Two New Bridges Over Danube
Bulgaria and Romania will sign a Memorandum of Understanding to implement feasibility studies on the construction of two new bridges over the Danube River, Transport Minister Nikolina Angelkova said, Tuesday.
The facilities will connect Nikopol with Turnu Magurele, and Silistra with Calarasi, Bulgaria's news agency BGNES reports.
