Piraeus Bank enters the markets with a green bond
The Piraeus Bank is issuing a green senior preferential bond, Bloomberg reports.
The issue is estimated to be worth €500 million.
The issue has been assigned to BNP Paribas in partnership with BofA Securities, Commerzbank HSBC and IMI- Intesa San Paolo who will jointly run the offering book.

Greece drew 3 billion euros from the issue of a new 30-year bond on Wednesday, securing considerable demand for the issue that came on the back of the unexpected upgrading of the country's credit outlook to "Positive" by Standard & Poor's last Friday.

Armed by the surprise move from Standard & Poor's last Friday, upgrading Greece's outlook to "Positive," the Public Debt Management Agency is on Wednesday set to make its second major market foray for 2024, with a new 30-year bond.

Sakkari swept by Swiatek in Indian Wells final
Iga Swiatek beat Maria Sakkari 6-4, 6-0 in just over an hour to win the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells, California, on Sunday, with the world's top-ranked woman losing just 21 games in six matches during the 12-day tournament.
Swiatek earned her 20th match win of the year, which leads the WTA Tour.

Maria Sakkari outlasted Coco Gauff 6-4, 6-7 (5), 6-2 after blowing three match points in the second set of their rain-delayed semifinal Friday night to reach the BNP Paribas Open final.
Sakkari will play top-ranked Iga Swiatek in Sunday's final. Swiatek routed Marta Kostyuk 6-2, 6-1 to improve to 19-2 this year, with her match wins leading the WTA Tour.
