"Bulgarian Christmas" Charity Campaign Gathered nearly BGN 2 Million

The charity initiative "Bulgarian Christmas" in support of children with severe diseases and disabilities continues. Almost 2 million leva has reached the amount raised to date for the 16th edition of the campaign after the end of the charity performance, which took place on Christmas Day in the Ivan Vazov National Theater, the press office of the presidency announced.

EC fines Bulgarian Energy Holding 77 million Euro For Breach of EU Antitrust Rules

The European Commission has fined Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH), its gas supply subsidiary Bulgargaz and its gas infrastructure subsidiary Bulgartransgaz (the BEH group) more than 77 million euro for blocking competitors' access to key gas infrastructure in Bulgaria, in breach of EU antitrust rules, reported the Bulgarian National Radio. 

Bulgaria's Ministry of Culture joins European Network for Literature and Books Traduki

Bulgaria's Ministry of Culture will join the European Network for Literature and Books Traduki. The Ministry of Culture will sign an annex to the project's framework agreement for the period January 1, 2019- December 31, 2020, writes the Bulgarian National Radio. 

Ravadinovo Castle Voted Bulgaria's Tourist Attraction of 2018

The Castle In Love with the Wind in the village of Ravadinovo, Sozopol Municipality won the 2018 Annual Tourism Award of the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism in the category Tourist Site/ Attraction, the Bulgarian National Radio-Burgas informs. The winner was chosen in an online voting of Bulgarian and foreign tourists. It earned 35.96% of all votes.

President Rumen Radev will not Support Call For Stopping Coal Mining

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said at a meeting with heads of major trade unions in Bulgaria, Plamen Dimitrov and Dimitar Manolov and representatives of coal mining trade unions that a clear commitment from the state for the development of coal mining and the Bulgarian TPPs was necessary.
