Desislava Atanasova and Borislav Belazelkov officially assumed their roles as members of the Constitutional Court in Bulgaria during a formal ceremony on Friday.

Dissatisfied with the election of Ivan Geshev as the new Chief Prosecutor, representatives of the civilian ''Boets'' movement gathered today before the presidency, demanding that the head of state not sign the decree appointing Sotir Tsatsarov's successor to the post.

The GERB members see a "politics activity" in the idea for the Prosecutor's Office to be out of the judiciary. This proposal was made yesterday by the chairman of the Supreme Court of Cassation Lozan Panov on a meeting with the President Rumen Radev.
