The number of affected customers is 1,948 in Vidin, 285 in Pleven, 966 in Blagoevgrad, 393 in Montana, 246 in Pernik, 539 in Sofia, 650 in the Sofia region, and 3,212 in Vratsa.
Bulgarian Minister Resigns over Controversial Energy Deal
Bulgarian Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova submitted her resignation on Friday in order to "erase all doubts" about a deal that saw the assets of the largest private energy company in Bulgaria, CEZ, sold to a family-owned business to which she allegedly has ties.
Reactions in the National Assembly on the Sale of CEZ's Assets in Bulgaria
After it became clear that CEZ's governing bodies have approved a contract for the sale of their assets to Inercom Group, the reactions in parliament have not been delayed. Yesterday it was announced that the Czech concern CEZ sells its assets in Bulgaria and the buyer is Bulgarian company "Inercom Bulgaria".
The Minister of Energy Resigned
Energy Minister Temenujka Petkova resigns, NOVA announced. Temenujka Petkova said she wants to clear her name. She said she had talks with Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.
"What I think, with the slightest doubt about any problems or influences, that it is a decent act to resign, I talked to the Prime Minister and will resign, and he will decide what to do," Petkova said.

Heating Crisis Continues in Some Sofia Neighborhoods
A number of neighborhoods remain cut off the heating grid for days in Bulgaria, capital after technical faults, amid controversy over what caused the breakdown.
Lyulin (4-5) and Nadezhda (3-6) are affected after successive breakdowns over the past 24 hours.
Several Sofia Neighborhoods Left without Power
Electricity supply has been cut in several southern neighborhoods in Bulgaria's capital Sofia.
These include Gorna Banya, Lozenets, Vitosha and Kinotsentar, electricity distribution company CEZ has said on its website.
Power is gradually being restored in the affected areas, accoring to CEZ.

18,000 CEZ Customers in Sofia Left Without Electricity
A fire in a substation in Geo Milev district in Sofia left without electricity 18,000 customers of CEZ in the central part of Sofia.
At the moment, power has been cut off in the districts of Sitnyakovo, buildings along Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd and Ivan Asen II St, Rakovska St, Vasil Levski Blvd an others.
