Construction of BIO4 Campus begins in Belgrade
BELGRADE - Construction of the BIO4 Campus, a unique multidisciplinary project due to make Belgrade one of Europe's recognised bioeconomic hubs, began in the Serbian capital on Wednesday.
Preparatory works to build the approx. 30 ha campus began on May 29 and all works are slated for completion in 2026.

Serbian gov't signs agreement on 80 mln euro EBRD loan
BELGRADE - Under an 80 mln euro loan agreement signed by the Serbian government with the EBRD on Friday, 70 mln euros will go to further construction of science and technology parks in Serbia, with the remaining 10 mln to go to the BIO4 campus in Belgrade.

The Parliament has ratified a framework agreement for a EUR 200M loan between the Council of Europe Development Bank and Bulgaria, according to BGNES. This is a mechanism for the co-financing of projects developed with EU funding under the operational programmes, co-financed by the European structural and investment funds for the 2014-2020 programming period.
