Mariya Gabriel Has Been Named as one of the 50 Most Influential Women in Europe for 2019 in the Field of Cybersecurity

The leading European cybersecurity magazine SC Media UK named the Bulgarian Commissioner for the Digital Economy and Society Mariya Gabriel as one of the 50 most influential women in Europe for 2019 in the field of cybersecurity.

Mariya Gabriel Will Participate in the Digital Knowledge and Skills Day in Haskovo

Mariya Gabriel, Bulgarian Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, will visit Haskovo on November 11 to participate in the Digital Knowledge and Skills Day under the motto "Programming and Creating Together". This was announced by the Press and Media Department of the EC Delegation to Bulgaria.

The event will start at 11:00 am in the Zarya Community Center.

Brussels with a New Invitation to Municipalities to Apply for Free Wi-Fi

The European Commission will send a new invitation to apply for WiFi4EU vouchers to build wireless internet networks in public places, including mayoralties, public libraries, museums, parks and squares, on September 19 at 14:00 Bulgarian time. 

The call for applications opens on 19/09/2019 at 13:00 (CEST). You can apply until 20/09/2019 at 17:00 (Central European Summer Time).

Three Balkan Women Nominated for European Commission Posts

The president-elect of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced on Tuesday the names of the proposed new European commissioners, including three women from Balkan EU member states.

The proposed names will now be put forward to the European Parliament for votes on their approval.
