Mariya Gabriel: Europe Must Keep People at the Centre of Digital Policy

At a working meeting in Paris, as part of the annual Internet Governance Forum, European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society Mariya Gabriel discussed, with France's President Emmanuel Macron, European leadership and digital sovereignty, reported the Bulgarian National Radio. 

Mariya Gabriel Received Peru's Highest Honors for Visa Waiver

The Bulgarian EU Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, Mariya Gabriel, was awarded Peru's highest state honors. The reason is the abolition of short-stay visas for Peruvian citizens across the EU. This was done in 2016 after the vote on the report by Mariya Gabriel as the European Parliament's rapporteur on the subject, the European Commission's representative in Sofia said.

EU Municipalities Today Are Applying For Wireless Internet Financing

European Union municipalities will today apply for European funding for wireless internet. The goal of the project to promote citizens' connectivity through the Internet is by 2025 to provide public services - municipal administrations, libraries and hospitals - with free Internet access.
