Lamda to assume controlling stake in Flisvos Marina

The governing board of listed firm Lamda Development has decided to partially revise the allocation of the funds it raised in a recent 650-million-euro share capital increase.
It will now use €12.4 million to acquire a stake in Lamda Marinas Investments SMSA, the company that controls and manages Flisvos Marina at Palaio Faliro in southern Athens.

Lamda buys out Dogus’ holding at Flisvos Marina

Lamda Development is as of last week the 100 percent owner of the Flisvos Marina in Palaio Faliro, southern Athens.
This follows the transaction last Thursday between Lamda and D-Marinas, which belongs to Turkish group Dogus - i.e. a few days before Dogus' broader divestment from marinas which it has sold to CVC Capital Partners.

CVC Capital is Lamda’s new partner

CVC Capital Partners, known in Greece mainly due to its acquisition of the Hygeia and Metropolitan hospitals, has announced that its subsidiary CVC Capital VII has agreed to acquire the activities of D-Marin, a company serving yachts in the Mediterranean and the United Arab Emirates, from Turkish group Dogus. That means CVC is now a partner of Lamda Development.

Low participation from Ankara at this year's Davos

There will be a limited participation from Ankara at the 47th World Economic Forum in Davos on Jan. 17-20, due to the ongoing debates over the constitutional amendment vote.

Unless there is a last minute change, Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek will participate, along with Central Bank Governor Murat Çetinkaya.
