26 Russian companies want to take over Serbian firms
MOSCOW - A total of 26 Russian companies are interested in taking over Serbian enterprises, Russia's Energy Minister Alexander Novak said after a meeting of the intergovernmental committee on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation between Russia and Serbia in Moscow on Tuesday.

Ukraine Allowed to Sell Up to 49% of Gas Pipeline System
Ukraine's Parliament adopted on first reading a bill under which up to 49% of the country's gas pipeline network could be sold to foreign investors.
This could pave the way for US or EU companies, which have eyed Ukrainian gas transportation system over the last months.
Russian Energy Minister: We Will Proceed with South Stream
Russia’s Energy Minister Aleksander Novak revealed that the South Stream gas pipeline project is moving forward.
“Russia continues realizing the project in compliance with the intergovernmental agreements. The work cannot be suspended”, Novak said, quoted by ITAR-TASS.
Germany Starts Gas Deliveries to Ukraine
German RWE has started delivering gas to Ukraine via Poland.
RWE uses the services of Polish gas-transit company Gaz System, which has reported it will provide to Ukraine around 4 M cubic meters of gas on Wednesday, April 16, according to RBC Daily.

EC Questioning Bulgaria Over 'South Stream' Ammendment
The European Commission has requested clarification from Bulgaria regarding a proposed ammendment to the Energy Act.
The Commission is concerned that the Bulgarian government is planning to pass an ammendment, which would change the status of the South Stream gas pipeline in its segment, so as not to fall in the range of European legislature.
