Soccer cup final to be held in Cyprus
The Executive Committee of the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) has announced that the final of the 2022-23 Greek Cup will take place on May 20 in Cyprus, one day before the national elections, accepting the proposal of its president, Panagiotis Baltakos.

EPO chief aims to bring elite refs to Greek soccer

Olympiakos and Atromitos face relegation for match fixing
Olympiakos and Atromitos are threatened with relegation, while their owner Evangelos Marinakis and Giorgos Spanos, Portuguese coach Ricardo Sa Pinto and a dozen others are threatened with very serious sanctions, all for corruption and match fixing in Greek soccer, according to a report on Athens radio station Sport FM.
Greek soccer memorandum set to be signed Tuesday
The memorandum to overhaul Greek soccer will be signed on Tuesday by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) President Aleksander Ceferin, and soccer world governing body FIFA's Vice President Greg Clarke.

Greek financial police raid soccer federation
Greece's financial police on Wednesday raided the headquarters of the country's soccer federation (EPO) in Athens, the federation said.
The financial police were not immediately available for comment, but an official, who declined to be identified, said they were looking into possible financial misconduct.

Greece goes Dutch for the national team's bench
Canadian-born Dutchman John Van 't Schip is the new manager of the Greek national team, the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) announced on Wednesday.
The former assistant to Marco van Basten at the bench of The Netherlands from 2004 to 2008 has signed a two-and-a-half year contract that will see him coach Greece through the end of the 2022 World Cup qualifying.

Greece coach Anastasiadis is shown the door
Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) President Vangelis Grammenos informed national coach Angelos Anastasiadis on Monday he is no longer needed at the national team set-up, but the two sides have not yet agreed on a way for the termination of their contract, nor has a successor been found yet.

EPO overturns OFI relegation, deducts more points from Panathinaikos
The soccer federation overturned on Wednesday two decisions that generated plenty of discussions in the last couple of months, canceling the relegation of OFI Crete for match-fixing and ruling as correctly abandoned the Panathinaikos vs Olympiakos derby, along with deducting a further two points from the Greens' tally.
