Key EU official rues delays in talks, plays down debt hopes
A European technocrat who has been at the heart of ongoing bailout negotiations between Greece and its international creditors on Friday expressed disappointment over delays in the completion of a current review while also clarifying that there will be no new debt relief measures but simply the detailing of those that were agreed last May.
Rifts appear in government, opposition over bailout stance
The government appeared to shift its strategy on bailout talks on Thursday, indicating that some measures might go to a vote in Parliament before a Eurogroup on March 20. New Democracy also seemed divided over the stance it should assume on the prospect of new measures.

ATHEX: Benchmark tops 655 pts on Eurogroup decision
The positive momentum from the Eurogroup decision on Monday to see the creditors' representatives return to Athens next week carried Greek stocks higher on Tuesday, although the closing prices were significantly below their mid-session highs.
The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) general index closed at 655.20 points, adding 1.43 percent to Monday's 645.95 points.

Government spokesperson: Measures and counterbalances to take effect from January 2019
Greek government spokesperson Dimitris Tzanakopoulos said the measures and countermeasures agreed at Monday’s EuroGroup meeting will take effect from January 1, 2019. The spokesperson called on Germany to “follow a path of realism” during the regular press briefing. “For every euro of measures there will also be a counter-measure of relief that will be voted in”, Mr. Tzanakopoulos.
