ATHEX: Bourse index recoups all losses posted on Monday
The Greek bourse on Tuesday recovered the ground it had lost on Monday but for the time being it appears unable to secure the boost required to reach the psychologically important level of 1,000 points. Turnover also improved.
Water cuts in Athens neighborhoods
Several districts of the Greek capital were without water supply since Wednesday morning, Athens's public water company EYDAP announced on its website.
According to the company, areas of Filothei, Papagou, Kallithea, Iraklio, Voula, Aspropyrgos, Kolonos and Akademia Platonos were affected by the disruption.
Water services will be restored at around 3 p.m, the company said.

ATHEX: Moderate rise on low trading
The week at the Athens stock exchange got off to a quiet start with a few buyers and no sellers, while more than half of the trading volume concerned pre-arranged deals. Turnover this July bears more resemblance to that which would normally be expected in August, the traditional holiday month, so one can only wonder what levels it will sink to then.

ATHEX: Stock index closes at the session's low
Domestic and international concerns related to diplomatic and trade issues led the majority of stocks to losses at the end of Wednesday's session at Athinon Avenue.
The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) general index ended the session at 746.70 points, shedding 1.44 percent from Tuesday's 755.33 points.

Journalists accused of blackmailing to report to magistrate
