Dnevnik not really surprised by Kansas referendum outcome
Ljubljana – The outcome of a referendum on the right to abortion in the conservative US state of Kansas is not as surprising as it might seem initially, since it reaffirms what opinion polls have been saying all along, says Dnevnik on Thursday, highlighting that the divide on this issue is not as simple as the Republicans vs Democrats divide.

According to Gigov, while 4.6 million doses of different brands have been distributed, only 1.8 million have been used. The expiry date is close for those jabs that arrived in late 2020 or early 2021.

World Bank downgrades Serbia's GDP growth to 3 pct
The June 2017 report had put the figure at 3.5 percent.
The World Bank now says that in 2019 and 2020, Serbia will have GDP growth rates of 3.5 and 4 percent.
Serbia's economy grew by two percent in 2017, according to the financial institution's estimate in the January 2018 report.

Biggest cocaine haul in years on northern border
According to the MUP the drugs were found on the northern Horgos border crossing between Serbia and Hungary, and an investigation into the case is ongoing.
The daily Blic reported earlier in the day that this was one of the biggest cocaine hauls in Serbia in several years, while the street value of the confiscated narcotics stands at "at least one million euros."
