Bulgaria: Forecast of 35% more Expensive Gas in May
The price of gas in May in Bulgaria will be equal to that on European stock exchanges. There, blue fuel is traded for about 100 euros, which means that the increase will be about 35% in May compared to the price in April. Russia suspends Gas Supplies to Bulgaria tonight
Today, Bulgargaz received a notification that natural gas supplies from Gazprom Export will be suspended as of April 27.
"The Bulgarian side has fully fulfilled its obligations and has made all payments required under this agreement, in a timely manner, strictly and in accordance with its clauses," the energy ministry said tonight.

Bulgarian Regulator Adopted Increase of Gas Price Backdating it April 1st
The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) decided to increase the price of natural gas backdating it from April 1.
New price will be to 33.19 BGN per megawatt-hour (excluding excise, VAT, storage and transmission fees), which means that the price is increased by almost 16 percent.
