Albanian police smash online fraudsters that targeted Greek citizens
Albanian police have said they have dismantled a crime ring based in the city of Korce that defrauded Greek citizens by withdrawing thousands of euros from their bank accounts.
Around 5,000 people in Greece were defrauded by the gang, which was led by a 30-year-old man from Tirana and a 29-year-old man from Korce, police said.
One in two Greeks bought a smartphone in the last 12 months
Almost every other Greek acquired a smartphone in the last year, with a survey by Focus Bari showing the Greeks are avid buyers of the handsets.
The survey, carried out in the first half of March, showed that 44% of Greeks bought a smartphone in the last 12 months, which is the fifth highest rate among 18 countries, trailing only Mexico, China, the United Arab Emirates and India.
Bulgarian Easter Breads are widely Sold in British Shops
Many British grocery stores are selling Bulgarian Easter Breads (kozunatsi), reported the travel site TravelNews. The online publication has found the traditional dessert at various outlets in Cambridge, Haverhill and London.

Seven out of eight Greek consumers make purchases from international online stores, with this percentage being - according to the PayPal eCommerce Index 2022 - the highest in Europe.
