Crucial week begins for stance of int'l investors toward Greece
Two very important events this week are set to determine the course of Greek stock and bond markets, as well as the attitude of foreign investors toward Greek assets and securities in general.

ATHEX: Moderate rise on day of quiet trade on stock market
The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) started the week with a particularly quiet session, featuring low trading volume and mild gains for the majority of stocks.

ATHEX: Action-packed end to session
The stock rebalancing due to changes in the MSCI indexes led to significant shifts in the closing auctions of Thursday's trading session in Athens that accounted for about two-thirds of the entire day's turnover. It concluded the month of May at Athinon Avenue, with the benchmark suffering losses of 11.93 percent over that period.

ATHEX: Index fails to retake 800 pts despite gains
There was something of a reaction on Tuesday at the Greek stock market to the recent selling spree, but the containment of gains during the closing auctions kept the benchmark below the 800-point mark for a second day in a row.
