Reports awaited on Hellenic Petroleum fire that left five seriously injured
An official investigation into a fire that broke out Friday on the premises of Hellenic Petroleum facilities in the area of Aspropyrgos, west of Athens, was expected to be concluded by Monday, while an independent report carried out by the fire service was also expected to throw light onto the exact circumstances that led to the blaze.

Refinery blast leaves six injured, one worker in serious condition
Six people were injured, five of them seriously, when a blaze broke out on Friday morning at the that Hellenic Petroleum (EL.PE) refinery west of Athens proper.
A 31-year old refinery worker was admitted to a nearby hospital with 70 percent burns over his body, while the other four were transported to other hospitals.
Number of workers in critical condition from refinery fire climbs to five
Five workers from the Aspropyrgos oil refinery west of Athens were in critical condition at a different hospitals on Friday with extensive burns from a fire that broke out early in the morning and also injured another six employees.
All five are on life support, with doctors saying that the next 24 hours will be crucial to their chances of recovery.
Fire at Hellenic Petroleum facilities leaves six injured
Six people suffered burns, three of whom serious, after a fire broke out on the premises of Hellenic Petroleum in Aspropyrgos, west of Athens, early on Friday.
The three seriously injured workers were transferred to the nearby Thriasio Hospital and two were said to be in intensive care.
