IMF confirms 2016 GDP growth forecast for Serbia
WASHINGTON - The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Tuesday confirmed its 2.5 pct GDP growth forecast for Serbia in 2016, as announced during a June visit to Belgrade by the IMF Mission.
At the annual IMF-World Bank autumn meetings in Washington, the IMF released its latest global economic forecast - the World Economic Outlook (WEO).

Euclid Tsakalotos meets with IMF head Lagarde in Washington
Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos had a series of meetings in Washington during the IMF-World Bank summit in an effort to present his views on the progress of negotiations between the country and its lenders. On the sidelines of the Summit, Tsakalotos met with IMF Director Christine Lagarde and agreed that the IMF representatives would return to Athens next week.

Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalaotos and Economy Minister Giorgos Stathakis are expected to meet with IMF head Christine Lagarde and Poul Thomsen on Friday at IMF-World Bank meeting which starts today. Greek Ministers will meet tomorrow with Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijsselbloem and probably with German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble.

Ahead of Friday’s start of the IMF-World Bank meeting in Washington, Friday, the Fund’s head said the last thing Greece wanted would be any delays.
