113 million People in 53 Countries Experienced High Levels of Food Insecurity

A report presented today jointly by the European Union, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and the UN World Food Programme (WFP) finds that around 113 million people in 53 countries experienced acute food insecurity in 2018, compared to 124 million in 2017.

'Yes' camp ahead in FYROM before deal referendum

According to an opinion poll carried out by the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, 41.5 percent of FYROM's population plans to vote "yes" in the September 30 referendum on the agreement with Greece which sees the country's name changing to North Macedonia.
