Flight Delayed: Air Serbia Faces Capacity and Quality Questions
It has happened to us all. But for Air Serbia passengers, it's happening more than the airline might like.
Indeed, between June 1 and November 30, 2019, almost a third of Air Serbia's 19,645 flights were delayed, according to a BIRN investigation, including 1,466 that, like the Sharma family's flight, landed more than 45 minutes late.
Air Serbia confirms resignation of CEO
Beta reported later that the carrier announced this in a statement, saying that its CFO Duncan Naysmith has been appointed interim CEO.
Kondic has tendered his resignation for personal reasons, after more than four successful years as CEO, the statement said.

B92 has received confirmation that Air Serbia CEO Dane Kondic has resigned.
The daily Danas writes on Monday that Kondic "wrote his resignation letter over the weekend and handed it in today."
Tanjug is reporting it learned unofficially that the Serbian national carrier's strategic partner, Etihad Airways, asked Kondic to step down.

Serbian pilot lands passenger plane after midair explosion
Pilot Vladimir Vodopivec on February 2 managed to safely land a commercial aircraft after an explosion ripped off a part of its fuselage near the right wing.
Daily Blic said the pilot is a 64-year-old Belgrader who in the past worked for Serbia's Jat Airways and Montenegro Airlines, and now flies for Daallo Airlines.

BELGRADE -- Air Serbia's first plane on the newly established Belgrade-Zagreb route landed at the Pleso airport in Zagreb on Friday morning.
Air Serbia will fly to Zagreb every day at 07:35 and 18:20 CET, and from Zagreb to Belgrade at 10:05 and 20:40 CET.

Bulgaria Air Inks Codeshare Agreement with Air Serbia
Bulgaria's flag carrier Bulgaria Air has signed a codeshare agreement with Air Serbia, the successor of JAT Airways.
Serbia's flag carrier, which is part of Etihad Airways, operates scheduled flights Sofia-Belgrade.
The agreement is a new type of partnership for the two airlines, according to a media statement of Bulgaria Air.
