TürkTraktör obtains financing for green investments

US sales of Tofaş’s van to discontinue
Stellantis plans to discontinue the Ram ProMaster City, the smaller of the truck brand's two van offerings, after the 2022 model year as the segment dwindles rapidly in the U.S. and automakers focus on adding larger electric vans instead, Automotive News has reported.
The ProMaster City is built in Türkiye by carmaker Tofaş at its plant in the northwestern province of Bursa.

Natural gas cuts to industrial zones end: Botaş
Turkey's Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (Botaş) announced yesterday that natural gas cuts to industrial zones would end as of this morning.
In a tweet, the national energy company thanked industrialists "for their understanding and cooperation in this period."
On Jan. 20, Iran halted natural gas flow into Turkey for 10 days due to technical failures on a key pipeline.

Ford curbs N American production as chip shortage hits
Major automaker Ford will cut its North American vehicle production next week due to a semiconductor shortage, U.S. media reported on Feb. 5.
Ford plans to suspend production of vehicles including the Ford Bronco, the popular F-150 pickup and the new Mustang Mach-E electric vehicle at its plants in Michigan, Illinois and Mexico, according to outlets including CNBC.

Tüpraş to invest $10 bln by 2050 for carbon neutrality
Turkey's energy giant Tüpraş plans to invest $5 billion by 2035 and $10 billion in total by 2050 as part of its Strategic Transition Plan, the company announced on Nov. 24.
'Anamorphosis Atatürk' on display at Rahmi Koç Museum
An artwork titled "Anamorphosis Atatürk," made by Czech sculptor Patrik Prosko with the contributions of Temmer Marble, will be on display at the Rahmi M. Koç Museum from Oct. 29.
The artwork, prepared by the combination of 539 pieces from 93 different themes, symbolizes the life and values of the founder of the Turkish Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
