Otokar, Koç Holding's bus and military vehicle manufacturer, has secured an export deal worth $28.9 million.

Ford-Otosan, a joint venture between Ford Motor Co. and Turkey's Koç Holding, has unveiled its new tow truck, mostly developed domestically in Turkey by 1,500 Turkish engineers in five years.

Energy giants topped Turkey's Fortune 500 list with oil refinery Tüpraş, owned by Koç Holding, being the champion with a net sales revenue of 53.9 billion Turkish Liras ($14.8 billion) in 2017.

Carmakers were ranked as one of Turkey's largest three exporters in 2017, with Ford Otosan, a joint venture between Ford Motor and Turkey's Koç Holding, topping the list with an export volume of $4.79 billion.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has said it is supporting a major milestone in the privatization of state-owned power plants in Turkey with a $55 million dual-currency loan to a subsidiary of Koç Holding, the largest diversified conglomerate in the country.

TürkTraktör, a joint-venture between the Turkish industrial conglomerate Koç Holding and CNHI, reached nearly 50,000 unit sales in 2017 and raised its market share to 49.3 percent, the company’s chief executive has announced. 

Ten investment groups have expressed an interest in the concession of Alimos marina in southern Athens, including foreign and Greek companies such as Lamda Development, Aktor, Dogus, J&P Avax, Koc Holding, Intracom and Archirodon.

Defense giant Aselsan, 85 percent of which is owned by the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, became the most valuable company listed on the Istanbul main stock exchange (BIST) on Nov. 14, surpassing Garanti Bank and Koç Holding early.

The 15th Istanbul Biennial, entitled "A Good Neighbor" and curated by artist duo Elmgreen & Dragset, opens to the public on Sept. 16. 

Organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), the event brings together artworks by 56 artists from 32 countries, all addressing different notions of home, belonging and neighborhood. 

Turkish LPG distribution company Aygaz said on Sept. 12 its Entek Elektrik Üretim unit, jointly owned with parent Koc Holding, has bid in a tender to operate two hydroelectric power stations.

A previous privatization tender in 2016 for the two power plants, Menzelet and Kılavuzlu, had been canceled, Aygaz said in a statement to the Istanbul stock exchange.
