Citizens of Zagreb dissatisfied with the two-decade-long rule of their mayor, Milan Bandic, protested on Wednesday in front of the County Court during a hearing against him.

As Bandic walked into the court, they whistled and shouted: "He is guilty!" They also held up banners with messages such as, "Mafia go home". Some protesters sat in the courtroom.

Croatian president "hopes to see Nikolic in Zagreb"

ZAGREB -- Croatia's new president has said she wishes that Serbia "takes the road toward EU membership," and also "hopes to see the Serbian president in Zagreb."

During an exclusive interview for the BHT1 broadcaster, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic also opined that Serbia "should take the step and recognize Kosovo."
