Aktor completes Leroy Merlin store in 6 months
French group Leroy Merlin's new store was completed by the Aktor construction company at 60 Kifissou Avenue in Kolonos, west of the city center of Athens, within a period of just six months.
The €15 million project concerns a building of 12,000 square meters on the plot where the construction of the Academy Gardens mall was previously planned.

Rouvikonas hits Swiss Embassy after French retailer
Suspected members of the Rouvikonas anarchist group on Monday threatened a guard at the Swiss Embassy in Athens and forced their way onto the premises to scatter fliers, a day after smashing windows at a French home improvement store in the capital and splashing paint on the storefront.
Police remanded 10 suspects in connection with Monday's incident, but made no arrests.
Leroy Merlin calls for protection of foreign firms after Rouvikonas attack
The French-headquartered furniture and homeware chain Leroy Merlin on Monday issued a statement following Sunday's attack on its premises in Maroussi, north of Athens, by members of the anarchist group Rouvikonas.
In the statement, the company expressed relief that "this violent attack did not leave any victims."

French-headquartered homeware and DIY chain Leroy Merlin is opening a new store near the US Embassy on Vassilissis Sofias Avenue in central Athens on Friday, hoping to balance its financial figures in Greece in 2018 after several loss-making years.

Leroy Merlin to open fourth Attica outlet
An abandoned building near the center of Athens looks set to be turned into a mixed-use complex for commercial and office purposes in the coming months. The 35,000-square meter property was built by the Dakon company in the mid-2000s.
