International monitors said Sunday that pro-Russian rebels in Ukraine had loaded scores of bodies from the crash site of downed Malaysian jet MH17 into train wagons as grieving families clamoured to have their loved ones brought home.

Malaysia airlines has announced the final list of the nationalities of all 298 passengers on board of flight MH17 which crashed in Eastern Ukraine, Thursday.

A total of 192 of all victims were from the Netherlands, 44 people, of whom 15 crew members, were Malaysian nationals, 27 Australians, 12 Indonesians, 10 nationals of the United Kingdom have been on board.

Sorin Frunzaverde, current president of the Caras-Severin County Council and former Minister of National Defence, declared on Friday for AGERPRES that neither Russia, nor Ukraine had an interest in downing the Malaysia Airlines passenger plane.

Two of the passengers killed in the airplane crash occurred on Thursday in eastern Ukraine, close to the border with Russia, were students of the Cluj Napoca University of Medicine and Pharmacy (UMF).

The two were students in the second year of the UMF Cluj-Napoca Faculty of Medicine, at the English language study program.

Rescue workers, policemen and even off-duty coal miners are combing the sprawling crash site in eastern Ukraine, reports AP. 

They are looking for the bodies of the 298 people who were on board of the Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777 which crashed, reportedly hit by a ground-to-air missile Buk.
