Orbán: "We are facing a world war"
He told Hungarian radio that the leaders of the Western world are "struck by war fever", that they give speeches in which they call for victory in the war and send more and more dangerous weapons to Ukraine, the MTI agency reports.

German passenger plane diverted over "bomb threat"
A German passenger plane flying from Berlin to Hurghada in Egypt made an emergency landing in Budapest, Hungary, on Monday.
Hungary's MTI agency is reporting the decision was made after a tipoff was received that a bomb had planted on board the aircraft.

Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban doesn't plan to reintroduce the death penalty, his chief of staff Janos Lazar said on Thursday.
The statement came after the head of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker warned Orban would be in for "a fight" if he considered restoring capital punishment which is outlawed in the EU.

Vucic and Orban meet in Subotica
BUDAPEST - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban met for an informal meeting in Serbia's northernmost city, Subotica, and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, the Hungarian prime minister's press office said in a release Tuesday.

Greek airline SkyGreece to establish Budapest-Toronto flights
AirTransat recently announced that it will be launching regular flights between Budapest and Toronto. Not wishing to be outdone, Greek carrier SkyGreece has stated that it is establishing a direct air link between the two cities, which will be taking place twice a week.
