Slovenia to get vaccine against two Omicron variants

Ljubljana – Some 370,000 doses of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines so far approved against two sub-lineages of the Omicron variant of coronavirus will be delivered to Slovenia this week, with more shots to arrive by the end of the month, the National Institute for Public Health (NIJZ) told the STA on Tuesday.

New Covid-19 cases down slightly week-on-week

Ljubljana – A total of 2,245 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Slovenia on Saturday, which is a slight decrease week-on-week, with the positivity rate standing at 47.4%, according to data by the National Institute for Public Health (NIJZ). The situation in hospitals is still critical, and another 19 patients with Covid died.
