Covid daily case count dips to one-month low

Ljubljana – Another 899 people tested positive for coronavirus in Slovenia on Saturday, down 28% from the same day a week ago, as the coronavirus case count keeps falling. This is the lowest daily tally of infections since early March. The National Institute of Public Health estimates 36,740 people are actively infected in the country, down 613 from the estimate on the previous day.

Covid-19 remains in retreat

Ljubljana – Slovenia logged 2,358 new coronavirus cases on Friday, almost a fifth fewer than a week ago as the decline continues for the ninth day running, data from the National Institute of Public Health shows. The 7-day average is now at 2,453, down by 76 from the day before, and the 14-day notification rate per 100,000 of the population declined by an additional 39 to 1,770.

Two-month low of 901 cases confirmed on Saturday

Ljubljana – Slovenia confirmed 901 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday, the lowest daily figure since 1 January, show the latest data by the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ). The headline figure however comes from far fewer tests, as free mass testing was scaled back when restrictions were eased last weekend.

New coronavirus cases down almost 70% in weekly comparison

Ljubljana – The number of new coronavirus cases in Slovenia dropped from over 7,000 to over 2,000 in a week. A total of 2,265 positive cases were picked up from 2,326 PCR and 20,627 rapid antigen tests on Monday. This morning, 511 Covid patients were in hospital, down 15 from yesterday, including 96 in intensive care, down 7 from the day before, the government said.

Slovenia’s daily coronavirus count at seven-week low

Ljubljana – A total of 2,267 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Slovenia on Saturday, the lowest daily tally in the Omicron-driven wave of infections, official figures show. According to the National Institute of Public Health, the 7-day average of new daily cases has dropped to 4,248, down by 286 from the day before, and the 14-day incidence per 100,000 fell to 3,942, down by 248.

Just over 3,700 new coronavirus infections recorded on Friday

Ljubljana – A total of 3,731 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Slovenia on Friday in 2,427 PCR and 86,503 rapid antigen tests, as the epidemic continues to wane. The National Institute of Public Health estimates there are still 88,410 active cases in the country, down 7,934 from the day before.

Daily coronavirus count falls to 4,716

Ljubljana – A total of 4,716 people tested positive for coronavirus in Slovenia on Tuesday, only two thirds of the case count the day before and 7% down from the bank holiday a week ago. According to the National Institute of Public Health, the 14-day incidence per 100,000 fell by 923 to 5,517 and the seven-day average of new cases declined by 57 to 6,658.

7,330 new coronavirus cases confirmed as decline continues

Ljubljana – A total of 7,330 people tested positive for coronavirus in Slovenia on Friday, which is almost 200 cases fewer than on the day before, as the drop in the number of infections continues. The seven-day average of daily cases decreased by almost 617 to 8,009 and the 14-day incidence per 100,000 people dropped by 358 to 7,343, the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) said.
