All Hospitalized People in Bulgaria Tested Negative for COVID-19

All 17 samples for the new COVID-19 coronavirus were negative. They belong to patients in hospitals in Burgas, Pleven, Stara Zagora, Shumen, Varna, Haskovo, Sofia and Ruse, the Ministry of Health reported.

The samples were examined at the National Reference Laboratory of the National Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases.

Rumours about First Case of Coronavirus in Bulgaria!

A person in Bulgaria has been diagnosed with a coronavirus, Traffic News writes. The information about the patient has not yet been formally confirmed by the Ministry of Health.

According to the information the infected patient is from Plovdiv.

He has a fever and all the symptoms of COVID-19. The case is expected to be formally presented by authorities within hours.

All Samples of Patients in Bulgaria who were Suspected to be Infected with COVID-19 are Negative

The National Reference Laboratory for the New Coronavirus 19 examined 9 samples of patients with who were hospitalized due to coronavirus suspicions in Stara Zagora, Haskovo, Shumen, Varna and Burgas. All of them are negative, according to the Ministry of Health.

All samples tested at the Military Medical Academy are also negative.

First Outbreak of Bird Flu for 2020: 6 000 Mulards to be Killed in Rakovski

Today, the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) has registered the first outbreak of avian influenza in Bulgaria for 2020. The National Reference Laboratory has confirmed the highly pathogenic Influenza H5N8 at a duck breeding farm in Rakovski near Plovdiv. At the moment of the outbreak registration, 5,830 mulards of four age groups are being raised on the farm, said the BFSA press office.

Ukrainian Citizen is Hospitalized in Stara Zagora because of Suspected Coronavirus Infection

A Ukrainian citizen is admitted to the Infectious Diseases Clinic at the University Hospital "Prof. Dr. St. Kirkovich" for monitoring.
He is a resident of Stara Zagora, but for the past three years, he has lived in China. He left the country on February 4, health authorities said.
