Deputy Director of the Batut Institute Darija Kisic Tepavcevic said that 160 newly infected coronavirus cases were recorded in Serbia.
She said 640 patients were hospitalized and there were 72 patients on the respirator.

There are 659 coronavirus patients in Serbia, and two deaths have been reported.
"Today we have two dead, that's a total of 10," said Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar.
Loncar said the woman from the Clinic for Infectious Disesase and a man from Nis had died.

The person was 48 years old and was staying at KBC Dragisa Misovic in Belgrade. In Serbia, three people died in one day, with a total of seven coronavirus victims.
"We expect that this week will be difficult, as well as next, there will be an increase in the number of infected, and there will be more deaths, we need to be aware of that", epidemiologist Branislav Tiodorovic said.

He was otherwise suffering from cardiomyopathy, had hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and diabetes mellitus.

Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar said in the last 24 hours in Serbia, 94 people were tested, 54 tested positive, out of which 27 were kept in hospital.
"We have 21 patients who are on a respirator and they are with serious illnesses, which consider are at risk," Loncar said at a news conference at the Serbian government.

He said at a regular press conference in the Serbian government that of the hospitalized, 11 were in Vojvodina CC, 17 in Nis, 9 in Kragujevac, 22 in Serbia, 57 in Dragisa Misovic and 9 at the Pulmonology Clinic.
