The Ministry of Economy has proposed an extension of the amendments to the Fuel Act, reported NOVA TV.
The Government approved a draft Law on Amending the Law on the Administrative Regulation of Economic Activities Related to Oil and Petroleum Products. The period of entry into force of the Act is extended, and this is expected to take effect from 1 July 2019.

Sweden's MTG Cancels Sale of Bulgaria's Nova TV
Swedish entertainment group MTG, the biggest shareholder in Bulgaria's largest media conglomerate, consisting of Nova TV and Nova Broadcasting Group, announced on Monday it has terminated its agreement to sell its share to the Czech PFF Group, owned by businessman and media mogul Petr Kellner.

More than 2.5 kilograms of contraband gold items and jewelry were discovered and seized by customs officers at Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint during a car check-up, the Customs Agency reported.
Plovdiv Rocked by Xmas Hog Roast Row
A plan to butcher two whole pigs and roast them in the centre of the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv as a Christmas celebration has been dropped after local protests.The hog roast was set to take place next to the Christmas tree by the city council building on Boxing Day, the bTV Novinite news site reports, cited by BBC.

Bus Caught on Fire on a Trakia Highway (VIDEO)
A bus was caught on fire in the area of 26-27 km from Trakia highway in the direction of Sofia, reports Nova TV.
The signal was filed shortly after 10:00 am this morning, the Ministry of Interior announced.
Initial information says the fire started from the rear section of the bus. Passengers are safe.
A fire team came on the spot.
